In May 2021 I set out to complete the TAESS00009 Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice Skill Set. I had met with an old friend who was training for this course and I could see that it would be a valuable asset to me as an educator.

In the following months the course took second place to much turmoil and tragedy until Vanessa arrived  - just like the cavalry -  to reset the course and provide guidance and support and her unwavering skill and knowledge in this area. 

Vanessa you are a star and I thank you so much for your ability, kindness, humour and dead set cleverness.

I have been working as an animal behaviourist;  consulting with various types of people on the training and assessment of assistance, conservation and therapy animals.  A Trainer and Assessor myself, coupled with various Masters degrees, I noticed a gap in the market that could potentially be filled by an Accredited Course.  My struggle lies with communication, having Savant Syndrome (Autism Class 3) I could academically think of the content, but struggled with the communication of these ideas, and processes put in place by ASQA.
